**Truman is back with us because his dad, Gary, is very ill and will be in long term hospital care. Gary told me that Truman has been such a good boy and his heart is broken having to give him up.
My dad is very sick and he can no longer care for me. I love him a lot and I miss him so much. I've been staying with his friends and their dog, my buddy George, but I need to find a new home. I've been doing so great living with my dad. Learning new things and building my confidence. We lived a quiet life, but I made some new friends and we were so happy together.
I have to confess, I'm a sensitive soul and I'm afraid of many things. I'm looking for a loving, patient person to help me continue to learn to feel safe and secure. I've overcome many of my fears, but I'm easily overwhelmed and stressed out by too much activity around me. I'm terrified and reactive to unfamiliar people reaching for me and trying to pet me, so I need a quiet, adult-only low-traffic home where I will be allowed plenty of time to warm up to new people. I'm smart and eager to please. I love to play and hang out with friendly dogs. I'm not so sure how I feel about cats. I sometimes get into trouble when left alone (I like to move dad's stuff from room to room). I love going for walks and I'm great on leash. If you give me a chance, I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion.
I'm healthy, happy, up to date on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped.
