Chester is a nice, friendly dog who likes everyone. He was a stray taken in by ARF on March 22, 2017. Chester probably hadn't been eating regularly, eating well, or eating much, and he is still a little thin. He was taken to the clinic by ARF on 3/28/17 after he didn't seem to be feeling well. He was given a parvo test (negative), Drontal Plus for whipworms and hookworms, and a prescription of metronidazole. He ate chicken and rice EN food while his tummy settled, and he was starting to feel better the following day. Chester, who is about 2 years old and 20 pounds, is a favorite at the boarding facility where he is staying. He loves to be outside, so he would very much enjoy a fenced yard. Without the fence, he would probably follow his nose wherever it might take him. Chester has beautiful brown eyes and he seems smart and ready to learn. ARF members can't believe that someone isn't desperately looking for Chester, but that hasn't happened. This dog deserves a good home and to be part of a family where he will be loved and kept save. If Chester had his own boy with whom to play fetch or ball or tug-of-war, he'd be in heaven! Can we help him get that?
