Deuce is not wild unlike in cards. He is a 10 year old liver and white Brittany with a cute face and a chubby build. Deuce has had a pretty hard time in life and now it's time to find him that special family so he can finally feel safe and loved. He has been previously adopted from a shelter and then returned because he does suffer from anxiety which is currently under control with a daily medication.
He responds well to reassurance, wants to be a lap dog, hates to be separated by any door, so with this guy a crate is not an option. It is recommended that he go to home as an only dog since he has shown some aggression to other male dogs.
So if Deuce could pick out his perfect home, here's what he'd like. Someone who is home most of the time, be an only pet, someone who will work with him to help him FINALLY feel safe and loved, and of course someone who thinks he's the most special loving dog in the world.
He is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Deuce is currently in foster care in Michigan. His adoption fee is $200.00 if you are 60 years or older, he does qualify for the $100 senior to senior adoption fee. He can be transported up to 1200 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles of his journey. NBRAN does require a home visit and vet check. If you are interested in Deuce, please go to nbran.org and complete an online application. The coordinator in your state will contact you. The Michigan Coordinator handling the adoption for Deuce is Joanne Denomme. Please contact her if you have any additional questions at firstname.lastname@example.org

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
