In most cases, if there is not another fur baby in the home we ask that you adopt our kits with a partner, unless otherwise mentioned that they would be happy alone. We raise our rescues in foster homes so they are already accustomed to people, phones, radios and tv; all the noises of home life. Because we work out of our home we require a completed application before you come to visit. We have many kittens available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rey/Fabiolla, a Fishkill Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Fishkill, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Fishkill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fishkill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fishkill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fishkill paves the way for another one to be saved.
