Havana's Story...

Havana is a little beauty! She has such interesting markings and a great personality! She and her family were being fed by some neighbors and they care very much for all of them. She was used to people, and then when she came inside, she has become quite comfortable! Havana is spayed, up to date on her shots, has tested negative for FIV/FeL. She has been dewormed, and is free of fleas. All of which are part of the adoption donation of $125. Please complete an application to be considered to adopt Havana. http://www.soundearth.com/SEAdoptionForm.pdf To view more pictures of available cats and kittens go to: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152674095226886.1073741836.49159386885&type=1 We strongly believe in the "Buddy System" and unless medically necessary require adopters to either have another animal companion already in their home or to adopt a pair. We raise our rescues in foster homes so they are already accustomed to people, phones, radios and tv; all the noises of home life. Because we work out of our home we require a completed application before you come to visit. We have many kittens available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Havana, a Fishkill Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fishkill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fishkill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fishkill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fishkill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fishkill paves the way for another one to be saved.
