Blitzen's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Blitzen's Story...

Blitzen is very sweet, and quite playful. He easily purrs, and loves to give kisses! He was rescued in Poughquag NY and is quite happy to be indoors with his fur family and people. He plays well with everyone and enjoys a good nap. He's healthy and happy! Blitzen is neutered, microchipped, is up to date on his shots, has tested negative for FIV/FeL and heart worm. He has been dewormed, and is free of fleas. All of which are part of the adoption donation of $150. We strongly believe in the "buddy system" for our rescues. In most cases, if there is not another fur baby in the home we ask that you adopt our kits with a partner, unless otherwise mentioned that they would be happy alone. Please complete an application to be considered to adopt Blitzen. http://www.soundearth.com/SEAdoptionForm.pdf To view more pictures, and learn about our programs go to: https://www.facebook.com/StrayHELPNY We raise our rescues in foster homes so they are already accustomed to people, phones, radios and tv; all the noises of home life. We know the behaviors of them as well and can give a good assessment on what will be a fabulous match for you and your home. Because we work out of our home we require a completed application before you come to visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blitzen, a Fishkill Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fishkill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fishkill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fishkill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fishkill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fishkill paves the way for another one to be saved.
