Tuna & Trout's Story...
Hi! I'm Tuna. aka Tunafish. aka Pie Face. I'm a sweet, affectionate baby! I've been a fantastic boy since the day I came to live with my Temporary Human (TH) - me and my sister Trout were about 2-3 weeks old, and were bottle fed. We love to play, be held and interact with people. I get along with other animals, cats or dogs. I love to play with my sister Trout, but if you have another fuzz butt at home I bet I'd play nice with them, too. Hey Tuna, stop talkin’! I'm Trout! I'm an energetic little girl that loves to romp and play. I'm not one of those silly kittens that doesn't pay attention, though. Nope. I'm a smarty, and I love to watch my temporary human (TH). See, I can tell when she's ready to play with me, or when she needs to be convinced to play with me. When she's busy, I can entertain myself, but I always check back to make sure she's ok. Sometime I sit on her lap when she’s workin’ on the computer ‘cuz her lap might be cold. I love to hide under the covers and jump out. My other TH makes a tunnel for me, and I reward him by nibbling his toes! See, I told you I'm a smarty! I love being held, and I especially love a ride around the house on my TH shoulders. It gives me a great view! I get along great with everybody... the dog, other cats, humans. I really want to have other fuzz butts in the house to play with along with my humans. Will you be my new best friend? Maybe you'd consider adopting my brother Tuna right along with me. We would be so much fun for you. We’re both neutered/spayed, up to date on inoculations, have our rabies shot, and have tested negative for FeL/FIV. We don’t have worms, fleas or any other pesky parasites. Please complete the adoption application to be considered for adopting us; http://www.soundearth.com/SEAdoptionForm.pdf. The completed form can be mailed to PO Box 245 Fishkill NY 12524 or emailed to ann@soundearth. Our TH will look it over and give you a call to come and meet us. I sure hope you do - 'cuz we’re fabulous!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuna & Trout, a Fishkill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fishkill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fishkill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fishkill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fishkill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fishkill paves the way for another one to be saved.
