Sweetie Pie is a Maltese Pom Mix looking for an amazing home. Sweetie found herself at Chicago Animal Care and Control after her Mom died and the daughter brought her in. Sweetie is a young dog that is a little bit shy and needs someone to show her love and build her confidence and trust. She seems to do better with women as a whole. She can live with other animals but would probably prefer her own adult home without a lot of other pets if any. A young submissive playful dog might work out. She needs a fenced in yard to keep her safe while she adjusts to a new stable home. Sweetie is a nice dog who needs to learn what it is to be loved and allowed to be her own dog. Sweetie is . We suspect she was a puppymill gal from her circling behavior. Sweetie Pie is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and had a dental cleaning.
