Hey there, I’m Ellie. I’ve had a roughgo of it lately, but I’m trying not to let that get me down. I had a what I thought was a forever family, but then one day, they dropped me off at this place called the pound. I thought for sure they would come back for me, but I waited and waited, and they never did. Lucky for me, a nice volunteer from Henrico Humane Society rescued me, and took me to a wonderful foster home. They’ve promised me that there are people out there who give second chances to sweet girls like me.
There are perks to adopting an older kitty like me. Older kitties are more sophisticated than those wild and crazy kittens. We don’t run around the house making messes; we prefer to spend our days lounging around in sun spots and waiting for pets and belly rubs. I’m obviously not the trouble making type, but even if I was, I don’t have my claws anymore, so your sofa is safe!
After I was rescued, the vet discovered that I have diabetes, so I will need to find a forever family who is willing to help me with my medical needs. After all I’ve been through, I think I deserve to find a forever family who will spoil me with love and
