My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackie is a male, 3 ½ yr. old Maltese/Yorkie mix. He has a soft and fluffy coat that is predominately cream in color with some light golden tan highlights. His appearance is that of a Maltese. Jackie was surrendered by his owner due to a recent move that did not allow them to keep him. He weighs 10 pounds fully grown and is a nice, manageable size. Jackie is a happy, even tempered little guy. He loves people most of all and will be your trusty companion. He wants to be where you are, although he is not overwhelming, he simply feels more secure near his foster family. Jackie has not had much individual attention so going on walks and riding in the car are new experiences for him. He has nice manners in public and will learn to enjoy daily walks or family outings. Jackie gets along with other dogs, but he isn't super playful with other dogs. He would be fine as an only dog as long as his family had time to enjoy his company and make him part of family activities. He is a nice looking, calm, and mature young dog and will make an excellent choice as a family or companion pet. Jackie is ready to meet his new forever home today!
