Hi my name is Nala. I am a 4 year old boxer who weighs 48 lbs.  I spent the first part of my life outside on a chain.  My owners barely fed me.  I was super skinny when animal control told my owners they needed to change their ways or give me to them.  Fortunately for me gave me to them.  That is when Miss Vivienne with Critter Cavalry learned about me and Mr. Toby (my wonderful foster dad) agreed to foster me.  Things have been fabulous for me ever since.  They took me to the vet and made sure I had everything that I needed.  I have been eating great food and you can see that I have gained weight.  I am now ready to find my forever home.  Mr. Toby has taught me to walk on a leash and I am housebroken.  I live with another big dog and we get along fine.  I am your typical female boxer.  I am full of energy and I love to run and play.  I would be a great dog for an active family with teenagers.  I am too much for small children.  If you like to run or hike or even walk then I am the one for you.  Exercise is key for a healthy and happy young boxer.  Only active families need to consider me.  While I am good with my foster brother I am a little bit of a brat some of the time with other dogs.  Sorry typical female boxer stuff.  I am super sweet with people and I love to give big sloppy boxer kisses.  I am also all about that little wiggle butt we are known for.  If you are a boxer person that is even better.  I bet we get along from the beginning.  If you would like to be considered for my forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615/943-7311.  I am spayed, current on all my shots and microchipped.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - VT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
