Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cha-Cha was surrendered to a vet office one morning by her owners to be euthanized. They claimed to have health issues (COPD) and could no longer care for her. They had supposedly tried to find a shelter to take her but had no luck. Luckily one of the vet techs in the office reached out for help and SOS saw the post. She is a beautiful, healthy, 5 year old with many years ahead of her. They were originally calling her "Chuck"- but the Veterinary staff changed it to "Cha-Cha"
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and negative for leukemia/FIV. She's a big girl at 14 lbs.!
She will need a fairly quiet and calm household. She is using a litterbox and eating well after a few days of cowering in a corner. After 5 years of having a home, she went from vets office, to SOS facility, to a foster home where she now enjoys a private bedroom and sunny windows. She likes to be petted and scratched but on her terms...typical, and she needs time to warm up to new people. She's been through a lot in a short time. She is front declawed already and absolutely needs to be an indoor only cat.
