My story

Hello! My name is Agnes Rose and I am very happy you stopped by! I am a beagle, maybe a mix, but most of me, if a mix, is BEAGLE. I am approximately 5 to 7 years of age and weigh around 30 pounds. I am pleasingly plump! I arrived here at the rescue with my friend, Abigail Penny. That lucky girl has already found her forever home! Abigail and me came from a place where we lived outside in a dirty pen. Oh what a mess it was! We were happy to get away from there and now I feel as if I am living in the lap of luxury in my foster home!
I am told I am a bit of an oddity and a miracle of nature! I was born different. I learned to live with my uniqueness and grew to become the sweet beauty I am today! I WAS BORN WITHOUT A TONGUE! Everyone at the veterinarian's office had to come and see me when I visited for my first checkup. Everyone was amazed and wondered how I survived puppihood and grew to be as plump as I am! I simply learned to adapt and taught myself to drink and eat with no troubles. I do drool a bit after eating and drinking and may need my face and chin wiped off to help me stay clean. I do well indoors and like it very much. I get along with other dogs. Like my belly rubbed A LOT! I will surely make a lucky person a loving, sweet companion! Maybe that's you.
