Willson's Story...
Hi! Wilson here, handsome and fluffy. I am very affectionate and more of a mellow guy. I made my way from the South with my mom and 3 Siblings.I love running about and playing with toys then finding a nice cozy spot to curl up when I'm tired out. I'm still young so I will need some love, guidance and patience while I continue to learn my "good dog" manners. I promise to repay in full as your loyal companion.I am considered a special needs adoption because I had a tacking procedure on my right eye for Entropion and may need further procedures for entropion in the future as I grow. If you would like to know more please stop by and ask questions. If you have the time for a sweet growing pup like me come visit and make sure we are a good match.

Before making the trip to visit the shelter we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Please understand that because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information, we encourage you to visit our shelter in person. Due to the high volume of interest, email and phone inquiries may not be returned on a daily basis. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit! 978-283-6055 ex 10 for reception desk

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willson, a Gloucester Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
