Major is a 2 -year-old neutered male chocolate lab. Major weighs 54 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Mar 30, 2017: Major and Gunner are a bonded pair, because when one is taken out of sight of the other, the remaining one gets very anxious. The shelter and Happy Tails' vet think Major and Gunner are siblings, because they seem to be the same age and have the same coloring and body shape. Major is a very sweet boy who loves people. Major's right hind leg has an old injury that has healed, so he walks with a limp. He is not painful, though. Major was great with Happy Tails' vet. He was giving kisses and wagging his tail throughout his exam. Major was tested on lead with other dogs at the shelter and was fine. Major ignored the shelter cat, so he may be OK with cats. There's no kid history for Major, so he's approved for kids ages 10 and up.
