My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ben is a 2-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Ben weighs 55 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
April 3, 2017: From his rescuer- We are calling him Ben or Benny, he is very people oriented and would rather be with people than out playing. He thinks he should be a LapLab. Ben takes treats gently and has a good appetite. He is a very sweet boy, rides nicely in the car and is ok on leash". Ben was running down a 4 lane highway in a rural area and was picked up by a friend of mine. He called me and asked what he should do with him as his dog were jealous and going after him, told him to bring him over. Called animal control and they had no reports of missing dogs and got their permission to keep him. Tried to find his owners with no luck to find his owner with no luck. Ben deserves a safe and loving home, Thank you for taking him in. More information and pictures soon.
He would like to have a family that is active and can give him love, attention, training and exercise so he will thrive. He needs a fence. Kids 10 and up as we don't have any history. Good with other dogs, was with others at the kennel. No cat history. Knows sit, down and come. Will have a training addendum. Okay on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained probably house trained as he waits to be let outside.
