Facts about Gilligan

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Gilligan is the sweetest little old man! He's about 8 years old and was rescued from a hoarding situation in Corpus Christi. Most of the cats from that place were completely unsocialized, but not Gilligan! This guy is SUPER friendly and loving! He is FIV positive and after his rescue had to have 16 teeth pulled, no doubt due to non-existent care in his previous home.

Gilligan is the friendliest cat you could imagine. We'd love to see him live out his life in a real, loving home instead of a rescue situation. He loves attention and has the most adorable vampire teeth! He's neutered, chipped, current on vaccines and had a dental cleaning in March 2017. He's great with dogs and other cats, and he'd make a wonderful family pet!

Adoption process: Please submit an adoption application located at http://www.wayward-whiskers-cat-rescue.org/adopt-today. We will review it and contact you as soon as possible to set up a meet greet. We process applications on a first come, first serve basis, and we reserve the right to deny an application for any reason. Our number one priority is placing our cats in the best possible homes and we look forward to hearing from you!

About Wayward Whiskers Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I have been rescuing cats and kittens for years and am passionate about changing the public's opinion of cats. There is a negative sterotype to cats that is just not true. People perceive cats as lazy, aloof, independent and uncaring but cats are not these things. They make wonderful companions that are snuggly, loving and relatively low-maintenance.

Wayward Whiskers focuses on special needs cats that no other adopters or rescues will take. This makes getting adoptions a little harder, but we believe that there is the right home out there for every kitty.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All visits with adoptable cats must be pre-arranged as I operate out of my home. Adoption events are scheduled monthly and listed on my Facebook page.

Our Adoption Process...

Each adoption may consist of a home visit to ensure that the cat is a good fit for the family. An adoption contract and minimum donation is also required. Cats over one year are $65 and cats under one year are $75.

Each cat and kitten is spayed or neutered, de-wormed, given a flea preventive, given all vaccinations including rabies, and FIV/FeLV tested.
