Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meow, my name is Bridgette and a beautiful, sweet, affectionate healthy teenager! When I was tested for FeLV, the tests came up positive. However, because I am so healthy and never been exposed to it, I must have gotten it from my mother. Studies done on cats that contract FeLV from their mother's are classified as carriers and never exhibit any symptoms associated with Leukemia. Unfortunately no one is interested in adopting me and taking me home to love!
The doctors say that my chances of living a normal life (average lifespan 13-15 for cats) is as good as any other cats, because it was inherited and not contracted through fighting or saliva with another positive cat.
Anyway I can live happily being an only cat or with other cats (as I do like the company, lol). Fat Kitty City would be happy to provide the FeLV vaccination to anyone with other cats that would welcome me into their home, if needed.
Won't you take a chance in adopting me?
To help my odds of getting adopted (which are at about zero right now), since there are so many kittens and other cats that don't have this "black" mark against me, Fat Kitty City, has offered to take care of any health issues (if any) throughout my lifetime, through one of their vets.
Please, please consider giving me a chance. I could turn out to be the best cat you've ever had
