Peaches's Story...
Peaches. 8 year old Female Pug/Beagle Mix ("Puggle") Up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Housetrained. Adoption fee $175.00

Peaches is such a sweet girl. She gets along fine with other dogs and cats. She has not been around children while in our care so we are unsure how she would react. We believe she would be ok though. In her previous home she was not allowed on furniture and even with coaxing by her foster family to try to get her to join them on the couch, she prefers to stay on the floor but near you. She would do best if she was not crated because in her previous life, she was crated a lot and is not too fond of it now. She will go in one and stay for a bit, but doesn't enjoy it for long periods of time. She is housetrained and not destructive, so this shouldn't be a problem.
She loves her people a lot and would do best in a home where she is not left for long periods of time.
If you are interested in adopting Peaches, the first would be to fill out an adoption application. One can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Indianapolis Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
