Pretty, precious and petite are 3 words that are perfect to describe Brigitta. You could also add gentle, girly and genuinely sweet and you'd be almost halfway to describing just how special she is. Brigitta was found as a stray and taken in by a very kind woman who was known in the area for taking in strays but soon realized her growing pack was too much to take care of properly, so she sought out our help her with finding loving homes for each one. Brigitta is now being fostered in a home with other dogs and visiting children, and Brigitta is the Belle of the Ball!
On the Friendliness scale rating 1 to 10, Brigitta is an eleven!! She'd be happy to be the Official Greeter in the house if you need one. She loves when the foster mom's grandkids come over because she knows that she'll have that many more pairs of little hands petting her -- she just loves for them to pet her!! And she is such a little lover girl, she will jump in the nearest lap so you can give her more attention, but she does it so gently. She even walks with grace: head held high and proud, and never in a hurry to get anywhere. In fact, she walks very well on a leash but rather slowly -- no mountain hikes for her! Brigitta is also great with other dogs. Though she's not a particularly active girl by any standards, she enjoys a game of Tug o' War every now and then, and she'll run around the yard when the mood hits her. But then she's ready to lay around, search out a lap and get petted . . . some more.
We have no idea what her true mix is, so if you're looking for a hypo-allergenic dog, all we can guarantee is that she will not be allergic to YOU. We think Brigitta is about 2 - 3 years old, she weighs an itty bitty 15 pounds and she's a very healthy girl.
