This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Introducing our newest puppy, Elliot! Elliot has the perfect Chihuahua face! He is looking for a forever home to grow up in!
Elliot's journey with us started out a little rough. We received a call from Dallas Animal Shelter asking if we could take in an injured puppy. When we picked him up, we found that he had minor injuries to both his front shoulders and also a right wrist (paw) injury. All of these have been treated and are healing nicely. And Elliot is so happy to be safe. He is feeling great.
Elliot is a playful puppy. He has the unique ability to get ANY dog to play with him, even his grumpy 14 year old foster sibling who never plays with anyone. Ha. His foster siblings adore Elliott! And even his cast has not slowed him down. The guy has such a joy for life! As a typical puppy, Elliot loves to chew on toys and nylabones. So we recommend keeping plenty of those on hand!
Elliot also loves his people. This guy is one of the friendliest dogs we have ever had. He loves anyone who walks in the door! Elliot adore his foster family and greets them every day with a wagging tail. He loves to sit on your lap and be loved. Note that while his leg is healing, it is important to lift him up and down onto your lap (IE - no jumping yet!).
Elliot is really smart. He is almost 100% potty trained and will be there in no time. He is already trained to use pee pee pads! He is also crate trained.
Elliot would love to have other dogs in his foster home to play with. He will be a great dog with children. This guy is going to create some amazing memories with the family who adopts him as they grow up together!

Elliot is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
