Twizzler's foster mom says it best: "I don't know what kind of home Twizzler came from but I do know I can't imagine anyone giving him up as he is the sweetest dog! Loves for you just to love on him. Would make a a great pet for a family with or without kids."
Perhaps the reason Twizzler gets along so well with kids is that he thinks he's one of them! Twizzler is a happy, playful boy who figures you live once, you might as well have fun! He loves to be petted, he loves to just run and play, he loves the visiting grandkids that come over to his foster mom's house, he gets along great with other dogs and will tailor his playing to whatever they prefer . . . just to have a good time! He is super friendly with everyone but he is never an in-your-face type. He definitely has an "off" switch! But he does believe that whoever has the most toys, wins!!!
We have no idea what Twizzler's true mix is, so if you're looking for a hypo-allergenic dog, all we can guarantee is that he will not be allergic to YOU. Twizzler was found as a stray and taken in by a very kind woman who was known in the area for taking in strays but soon realized her growing pack was too much to take care of properly, so she sought out our help her with finding loving homes for each one. We think he is about a year old, he weighs about 25 pounds with a little more to grow, and he's a very healthy boy.
