Facts about Chloe

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Chloe is a strong, beautiful, one and a half year old Lab mix who loves to chase after toys, but when she flops down on the grass for a rest you’ll get splashed all over with the joy that comes spilling out of her big Lab smile. Chloe has lived as an inside/outside dog with adults, children, and other pets; Chloe was hesitant at first to trust volunteers until one of them used a spoonful of peanut butter to win her over. Since her peanut butter therapy, the phrase that volunteers use most often to describe Chloe now is “love bug.” “Chloe” means “blooming”--such a pretty, promising name for this sweet girl who came to us in springtime. If you have room for a love bug to flower in your heart and home, Chloe is looking for a place to put down roots. To meet Chloe contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org

About Tri-County Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Tri-County Animal Rescue Center rescues needy cats and dogs, and provides the quality care they deserve until we can place them in forever homes where they will be treated as part of the family.

We are committed to helping reduce pet overpopulation by providing access to low-cost spay/neuter programs and educating the public.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Tri-County Animal Rescue Center is located in the former Clarion County Humane Society building at 9562 Route 322 in Shippenville, Pennsylvania. We are a NO KILL facility.
Hours:
CLOSED Monday
1:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 Tuesday thru Friday
12:00-3:00 Saturday and Sunday
PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.

The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations.
If living in a rental property, we must obtain permission from the landlord before an adoption can be approved. The dog or cat will be placed with the potential adopter that best matches the needs of the animal.
