Noodles (Neutered)'s Story...
"Noodles" is a handsome 3-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on April 11, 2017 for a very sad reason :( His master had passed away recently and there was nowhere else for Noodles and his best friends (Jazzy, Sugar, and Tom) to call home.

"Noodles" has a white-and-buff short smooth coat, a long buff-colored tail, and a darling chubby-looking face with a pink nose and golden eyes. This good-looking young man is extremely affectionate and very sociable. He immediately comes to the front of his cage in hopes of attention and/or petting.

"Noodles" was given vaccinations and wormer on April 11, 2017. "Noodles" will be neutered (at no cost to his new family) before being adopted. He is also available for rescue- or foster care.

"Noodles" was neutered on April 26, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 10.2 lbs. on that date.

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noodles (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
