Facts about Linus

  • Breed: Doberman Pinscher
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Linus just came to us from an animal shelter, so we don't know a lot about him yet. He is kenneled with a hyper female Dobie and he tolerates her well, basically staying out of her way. Linus apparently has had a rough life as he has several broken teeth and an old injury to one front ankle, which doesn't seem to bother him at all. The vet aged him at 4 years, but he could be a couple of years older than that. He's on the small side for a male at slightly under 70 pounds, but he's remarkably strong on leash so he will need a little work on that. Linus is now neutered and we've noticed he is particularly easy to handle using a crate so crate training would be a wonderful option to help him acclimate to a new home. You can meet Linus at the rescue in Fillmore, ca and if you have any questions then please contact us at dobierescue@earthlink.net or 805-524-5102 or 818-317-1054.

About Dobies and Little Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $200-$250 for a doberman and $150 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
