My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BIG baby peppermint! :)A 3 yr old boy of 58.6 lbs of muscles and hot gas, but he believes he's a really a lap dog if you give him the chance! He's all about the love and cuddling, and isn't liking living in a foster home that he can't call his own. He prefers to snooze on a pillow all around the house. He's ready to be in someone's warm home, and he's gonna protest that fact until someone adopts this handsome boy

Peppermint is good with other dogs, just not other boys. Even though he is deaf he loves to run and play with his owner. He is trained, (housebroken/knows sign language commands/nicely leash trained), so we're sure he will make a great member to any family! He walks really well on a leash which is a huge bonus for this breed given their natural tendency to be easily excited! He would do well with a family, or someone who is a "first timer" and loves to play with others once he becomes accustomed to them. He is like any typical boxer, and the rain isn't for him, so he doesn't like to be left outside to play all alone or during any hot or cold weather. He much prefers to be an indoor dog on a comfy bed for sure. He is weary of new people and likes to know he can love on them and cuddle them before he will trust them fully.
