My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dante is 7 years old and was surrendered to us due to owner health issues. He was very loved and spoiled. He has seen our vet and is scheduled for a teeth cleaning. Once he is settled in a foster home and we know more about him, we will update his page. Dante will not be available for 30 days to allow us time to learn about him and catch his vetting up.

Update 4/6/17: Dante is settling into his foster home. He is getting used to his foster family's schedule which changes daily. He still whines when either of them leaves home, but does well in a crate and cheerfully greets them when they return. Dante prefers to be where the action is, hanging out with his foster family. He LOVES to play fetch and tug and he is an amazingly strong little guy! He does well on a leash and loves walks, long or short. Typical schnauzer, endless sniffing is a delight, even as he walks along at a brisk pace. He vocalizes openly to other dogs and people he meets, and is learning social skills in that area. Dante loves to be groomed, massaged and cuddled and he's getting some TLC for his allergy skin condition which should improve with his recent food change.
