My story

Hello!

I am a 5 year old pure bred Beagle. I came from a breeder and have lived with the same family since I was a puppy (pictures of me as a puppy are above, aren't I cute?). I am good with other dogs, cats, and children (even the little ones). I have learned how to sit and wait for food, as well as drop my favorite ball so that you can throw it again! Fetch is my favorite game, which I can play for hours (I even have a favorite ball, which my current owners keep a back up for). I have an amazing nose that can sniff out anything, but it does get a little distracting. I'm full of energy, sweet as can be, and need lots of attention and love.

I'm in need of a family that can dedicate some time for exercising and training me. Unfortunately, my current family has recently grown larger and they cannot keep up with me. I haven't quite mastered the potty training thing, and thus have to spend much of my time outside (I think I can get the hang of it with a consistent trainer). I need more work with my walks but have improved greatly with the use of my new PetSafe Easy Walk Dog Harness. If a family could keep me well exercised, take me to school, and keep up with me, I think I could make a great addition. It would be a bonus if they knew how to engage my sense of smell, I bet I could impress the socks off of them!
