3 years ago, a friend asked if I could take their dog in temporarily. I informed them as long as she gets along with my dog, then sure. Since then, my friend's family has moved to the west coast. On top of this, my father passed away last year and I have brought my mother to live with me so I can take care of her. She has short term memory loss so when I go to the store or run an errand, she tends to let the dog out constantly because she doesn't remember when the last time the dog was out. This causes problem if the yard is wet or muddy as she will just let her back in the house without wiping her feet. Sometimes she even lets her out the front door when someone knocks on the front door. Due to my current family situation, it is hard to manage as I cannot be at the house 24/7. She is a great dog and loves to cuddle and is great with kids and other dogs. Please let me know if anyone would be interested in meeting her to find her a better home than I can provide for her.
