found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Her foster mom tells us: "This pup is full of energy ( in a good way); she is very playful and has a sweet and loving temperament. She loves to play with all of my dogs' toys... but then likes to chill and chew on her favorite bone! She is learning to do her business outside, and is well on her way to being potty-trained. She is very smart, and learned the doggy door within minutes of being here. We have found Butterscotch does not like being alone, she likes to be where her people are! In fact, she has even slept in our bed at night, without accident. Although she is happy lying right next to my feet, she wants to find my kids and my dogs, all the time. I think she would be great with a family with young kids or other animals. She is very social!"
Because she is so young Butterscotch needs a family where someone is home part or all of the day, to keep her on a potty schedule and continue her socialization. Puppy obedience school is also a requirement of adoption.
You can meet Butterscotch at her current foster home-- Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road in Wilmette--during normal store hours 7 days a week (847-251-6750, wilmettepetcenter.com). Although she is so sweet you will want to take her home on the spot, please note you will have to submit an application and go through the approval process. (Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 847-550-9690 for an application. For a faster response, we suggest you email.)
Butterscotch's adoption fee of $375 includes: vet exam, Bordetella vaccination, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, routine deworming, flea preventative, heartworm preventative, microchip and spay.
