Pearl's Story...

My Name is Pearl

I am a Maltipoo (Maltese / Poodle) mix, approximately 4 to 5 years old.  I am such an absolute Sweetheart!  I am friendly, gentle, love to give kisses, walk pretty well on a leash and love to go for car rides.  I like both men and women but especially kids.  I like other dogs but could be an only child.  I have curiosity about cats but not aggressive to them.  I have some basic skills like come and out.  My foster family has been working with me on this thing called sit and laydown but I haven’t quite got it yet.  I am doing okay with the potty training as long as they take me out but I haven’t quite got the letting them know thing down!   I like to lay down next to you on the couch or bed.  My favorite is sleeping with you but I also sleep in my own bed sometimes.  I like to have my own space at times and just nap.  I will require grooming and do pretty well with that but not my favorite!

Will you be my new family?  I promise to love you for life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Victorville Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Victorville, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Victorville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victorville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victorville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victorville paves the way for another one to be saved.
