This cutie pie loves to play and explore, both by herself and with her foster siblings. Meeka plays well with both dogs and cats, and follows her foster mom everywhere. She is very people-oriented as well, and loves to cuddle and learn new things. Meeka is very intelligent and picks up on the routine quickly and easily, as she is very adaptable, and would fit in well any loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meeka, a Regina Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Regina, or seeking a Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
