Did you say car ride?! Yes! Say those magic words and you have a friend for life in Bounce. Okay, let's be real. In her mind any person who opens their car door for her is her bestie in her mind. While she does enjoy a leisurely stroll, her heart is set on driving around town. Bounce is the type of dog that knows when it's okay to be crazy and when it's time to lay down and chew a bone. She minds her manners almost perfectly in the house. She is house trained, crate trained, doesn't chew up anything she's not supposed to, and not a barker unless she really needs to go out. Bounce came into rescue because she was left unsupervised with a toddler and the toddler sustained a nip/scratch. With no other information about the situation, Bounce was blamed and she was no longer wanted. Bounce lives with cats and dogs in her foster home. The cats she became friends with right away, but the dogs took a slower introduction. She grew up as an only dog, so deep down she would love to be an only dog again and not have to share her stuff or her people's attention. That's not to say she hasn't made any canine friends, she's just picky about who she likes (Aren't we all?). Because of the unknown circumstances of the nip on the small child, we are seeking an adult home for her just as a precaution. Requirements: Adopter must own home due to breed. Adult only home. Prefers to be the only dog.
