Carson's Story...
Carson wants to know if he can come home with you?!?
Carson is a very handsome 4 month old Lab mix. Carson is a tall and slender boy that we expect to be fairly large as an adult. He is good with other dogs, cats and kids. Carson is working on house breaking and crate training but will need his forever home to continue to teach him! He will do best in an active home that can keep up with his high energy and puppy antics!
If you have room in your home and heart for Carson, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carson, a Oxford Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
