I was a owner surrender because my owner's daughter is severely allergic. I was purchased from a breeder in another county. I am a very sweet laid back bunny. I was not familiar with a litter box until I came to the rescue however I am using it quite well. I was spayed on 4/13/17 by Dr. Hanna at F.A.F. Green tattoo at spay line.

About New Hanover County Rabbit Rescue of Wilmington

About Our Rescue Group...

Founder of rescue is employed at animal shelter and rescues rabbits from being adopted by people looking to exploit them as food, breeding, being fed to reptiles, and used for training hunting dogs. All rabbits are placed into temporary foster homes and spayed and neutered prior to adoption. Once they are spayed and neutered they are transported from foster homes to adoption fairs at PetCo on 324 S College Road, Wilmington NC and are publicly shown until they find forever homes. These rabbits are given a second chance to a new family. Please don't buy from a breeder. Adopt a rescued rabbit! We also rescue Chinchilla's too.
