Hello there, let me introduce myself. My name is Rosco and I have kind of a sad tale, but I'm hoping now that I am in loving care it will be a happy tale soon! My family kind of abandoned me, but some nice people from the US Wolf Refuge found out my predicament and got me to safety and then Moonsong said they would take me. So here I am - being fostered at "Camp Tahoe", but I've also heard it being called "boot camp"! I got a little overweight eating all that human food, so now I'm on a weight reduction diet with moderate exercise. My knee is pretty painful and I've heard that I blew my ACL (knee ligament), so now I will likely require surgery, but I need to lose some weight in the meantime. I do enjoy my daily short walk, but can't be on my feet for too long because of my knee. There is talk of a brace until I can get surgery. See the YouCaring fundraiser they have going for me here .

I am just a big sweetheart of a boy. I love attention and am very gentle and have a happy disposition. I like to be brushed and I'm friendly with other nice dogs. I just want to find someone I can love and who will love me in return for the rest of my life. I'm VERY lovable and there is a lot of me to love!
