SPOT's Story...
SPOT, a handsome 8 mo. old male Lab/Hound mix. He came to shelter with his sibling SPEC as they roamed to a house & ended up in the shelter. Both handsome boys get along with other dogs, love people and are looking for a new playground with a loving family. Due to young age should be easy to train. Sweet, loving pups. RESCUED 4/27/17 Lawrence Humane

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SPOT, a Princeton Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Princeton, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Princeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Princeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Princeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Princeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
