Sully's Story...
Hello everyone, my name is Sully. I am 3 years old and weigh 66.6 pounds. I'm friendly and sweet and I love to cuddle and swim. I also like to play ball and to play with other dogs. I do not do well around small children, so I am best suited for a family with older kids or no kids. I am house trained and know some basic commands. If you're looking for a handsome and smart dog like me, I hope you will submit an adoption application and set up a time to meet me soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sully, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
