HARRY's Story...
Originally rescued from the Yuba County shelter by a different agency, this terrific pup has been through quite an adventure, and came to our program after having transitioned through a number of situations. He needed some medical care to address a skin condition - he had been chewing himself raw - but it is not a serious issue, nor will it recur with good food and care.

The past is over. Now this wonderful goofy guy is looking for stability, safety and love. He is affectionate and sweet, great with other dogs and people, and probably ok with cats (we will test him). What he will need is some basic training and we will need a commitment from adopters that they will sign up for a puppy training class. This pup will probably be 65 pounds when grown so we want to ensure he has the good manners to go with his good looks and winning personality!

Our adoption fee is $300 for this pup to help cover our medical costs..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HARRY, a Emeryville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Emeryville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Emeryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emeryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emeryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emeryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
