Faith's Story...
We gave Faith safe haven when good Samaritans brought her into ITV as a stray. She had no chip or identification, but it was very apparent that she had recently given birth to puppies. We put on our detective hats and with the help of our great Villagers, eventually reunited Faith with 3 of her puppies. . A great set of fosters stepped forward and offered care for Faith while she finished nursing her puppies. Our brilliantly brindled gal's name came about because even though it took a few days, we all had "faith"that this beautiful new momma would soon be nose to nose with her little pups. Now, Faith will never have to be saddled with the responsibilities of an unnecessary pregnancy. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Faith is being loved by her foster parents who still can't believe such an amazing dog was ever homeless in the first place. She's a perfect size weighing 50 lbs- and she is very smart. Faith is learning several commands and may have them conquered by the time you adopt her. Both foster parents say multiple times a day that Faith is so "eager to please." In fact, they wish they could adopt her themselves, but realize its more important to continue fostering for ITV. Faith is an appreciative and loving 1-year-old. She LOVES kids, other dogs and is indifferent to the house cat. Faith is working very hard on house training and she is a very polite house guest most days! Faith feels comfortable in her crate at night and when left alone, but when she is out and about, she is a super affectionate social gal with manageable medium level energy. Who wouldn't want such a pleasing sweetheart to wake up to and have everyday as a loyal best friend??? We have faith that this good-spirited beauty will get the forever homes she deserves. Apply online at ITVrescue.org and don't miss your chance to be the lucky person to have a little Faith in your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Evansville Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
