Samantha's Story...
Hi, my name is Samantha & I'm a 2-3 year-old, Chihuahua mix. I'm also mom to TLC's adorable adoptable Sammy & the recently adopted Kitt FKA Sarah, but don't worry, I've been fixed so I won't be doing any more littering in the future.

I'm a really good girl who's already house & crate trained. . I'm very friendly and get along with everyone: kids, other dogs & even cats. Since I only weigh about 15 pounds, I am the perfect size to be a lapdog which is good because I love to cuddle. If you're not available for snuggles I'll, happily, claim a spot on the sofa & some blankets to get cozy.

My foster family is working on leash training with me. I'm OK on short walks but am a bit nosey so I have a habit of stopping and standing up on my hind legs if something catches my interest. I also love running around in a yard & playing but, since I was recently treated for Heartworm, it will be about a month before I can cut loose & go wild.

I can't wait to meet my new family & get adopted! If I sound like your kind of pup - and let's be honest, I'd be a great fit for any family - you can learn how to make me yours at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Kimberton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
