Looking for foster home or adoption
I'm Lucy. You might have been able to tell from my pictures that I'm not the youngest pup around. I'd like to think of myself as experienced. The nice folks at WAG found me on a dirt road, where I had been left with nothing to eat or drink and was in poor health. I have had several litters of puppies and when they took me to the vet, we found out I had advanced heart worm. They did their best to fix me up, but unfortunately it did some damage and now I have to take meds every day. But don't let any of this make you feel bad for me. I'm one lucky lady! I didn't think I was going to survive, but now I never take a day or a belly rub for granted, and I'm just waiting for a special home to share that love of life with or a medical foster home. I need a little extra attention, but I promise I'll make it up to you in snuggles and appreciation. Give me a chance to brighten your day and visit me at WAG. Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
