Since you're wondering, my name is Gretchen, and oh boy do I have a mysteriously dark past. I was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter where WAG rescued me. Then, the next day, they took me to the doctor to get spayed, and they found out about the worst night of my life. The doctor found a bullet in an abscess in my neck. Yep, that's right, I'm a survivor. I probably survived because I am what they call a smart cookie. I don't want to talk about that stuff anymore though. I want to focus on the future, where I imagine myself at the side of someone who loves me and wants me to be in their life forever. I am athletic, obedient, and sweet as pie. I am an awesome friend to have. And even though it's better than my old life, I hate being at the kennel! I often plot my escape in the hopes that I will be able to find my forever friend. But maybe I don't have to escape if they come to me.... if you want to set me free please call WAG and set up an appointment to meet me (352) 528-9888
