Amelia's Story...
Amelia is one of a litter of five lab/basset mix breed. puppies. Since her legs are longer and thinner she will look more like a lab but have some of the great personallity traits of a basset. Amelia is just turning 7 weeks old weighs 6 pounds so we think she will be a medium size dog when mature. All these puppies have wonderful personalities - loveable and playful. They are up to date on the shot and vaccination schedule and are a very healthy litter. If you interested in Amelia or one of her siblings please go to our website - www.hopeforhannahrescue.org to place an online application. This starts the adoption process and we will contact you soon after it is received to answer all of your questions. Thanks for considering Hope for Hannah!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Bartonsville Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
