Important Note

Cookie is best friends with Petunia. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Cookie and Petunia were originally adopted together by a couple who promised to care for them and give them a good life. Unfortunately, they were betrayed and abandoned in a high kill shelter. Cookie is a white cat with beautiful black and brown markings. Her best buddy Petunia is a gorgeous gray tiger, with silky fur and emerald green eyes. Cookie is more outgoing, gentle and friendly. Petunia is initially wary, but once she feels safe, she is extremely affectionate. These ladies are best friends, spayed, up to date on shots, have recently had dental work, very good eaters, and litter-box trained. However, it was discovered that Cookie had a mammary tumor, cancerous, and it was removed. At present, she is plump, glossy and happy, but the cancer, despite not having spread, may return. She may have another 2 to 3 years.

Cookie and Petunia have weathered a storm together and now urgently need a new home with people who will love and protect them. Despite their imperfections, they are great cats who have a lot of love to offer! Petunia was born around 7/30/11. Cookie was born around 3/1/07.

About Anjellicle Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer,
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a member
of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with
the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen shelter has been a lifeline
for abandoned, stray, and neglected cats and kittens.
In addition, we work closely with the ACC to pull out
those who are in danger of being euthanized due to
overcrowding. Each one is welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the goal of placement into a permanent, loving home.

Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on Fox 5 Morning Show, New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens.

Come in today to see our "cat room" and maybe you'll
find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
