for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
Daisy came to us on April 4'th, and with a story that absolutely broke our hearts. Daisy had lived with her human since she was a puppy, and was loved to the moon. For reasons that we will never know, Daisy's human committed suicide, leaving this precious girl behind. Now she has to try and keep her little world together, a world that consists of no familiarity. She has lost her human that she loved with all of her heart, as well as her home and everything she once knew. But we are committed to finding her that special place of belonging, of knowing what a happy life is again. A life in which she is loved and treasured for the perfect, loving, little girl that she is.
Daisy has so incredibly much love to give, as her soulful eyes are quick to tell you. She is no trouble whatsoever, and wouldn't be a burden of any kind. She wouldn't even take up much space, other than in your heart and lap. This is what she lives for. We don't know what Daisy's experience with children may have been, but we can't help thinking that a quieter, slower paced home might be more enjoyable for her. She's been through a lot and we just want her to be comfortable while she readjusts to a new world.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.
