Bleu Bishop (Bleu)'s Story...
My boyfriend just accepted a job in San Diego so we will be moving there in June. This really hurts to do this, but due to the living situation/finding an affordable place that allows two big dogs (one with a breed restriction) we will have to put one up for adoption. Unfortunately, there was no way to forsee this when I adopted another sweet dog in the winter of last year. Bleu is a Terrier, American Pit Bull/Mastiff-blue/white mix sweetheart. He is one year and seven months old, has no bite history and is about 60lbs. He is all up to date on vaccines and medication (flea and heart worms). I want to make sure he gets a loving home where someone has time on their hands to give him lots of hugs and take him on a run or to the park.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bleu Bishop (Bleu), a New Orleans Mastiff/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Mastiff/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Mastiff/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
