Pascal is a young male Golden Shepherd, mixed with either golden retriever or yellow lab. He is approximately 1 & 1/2 yr. old. This sweet boy was rescued from a shelter where he was listed for euthanasia. When he first came to his foster home he was a bit afraid of men but now he sits in the glider with his foster dad every night. He loves playing fetch with the tennis ball. He is still uncomfortable with strangers but warms up quickly. No small children - they would be too overwhelming for Pascal. When he is outside in the yard with his foster mom and dad he sticks close to them but outside with the other dogs in the home he has jumped the fence so he will need a high fence or supervision when he is outside. Pascal is very devoted and loves his people. He is great with female and male dogs and puppies. He’s not high energy but very busy. He is a fun dog & somewhat of a rascal, very comical. CAT FRIENDLY. This sweet boy will do well with a nice female helper dog, a confident dog to be a companion and help him get used to new things. Pascal is silly and loving and just wants to be happy and have a lovely family to share his life with. Someone who really cares.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
