My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie is Pixie, an American Eskimo Dog who is in need of an active forever home without young children and cats. Her family tried very hard to get her to adapt to their first child, but the recent addition of a newborn was just too much for her. Pixie will benefit from an experienced adopter who can offer an environment more suited to her needs, one that will include lots of exercise, stimulation and attention. She will need either an adult-only family, or a calm family with one or two older teens. Pixie is very cute but we ask that you read up on the breed before completing an adoption questionnaire on our website. American Eskimo Dogs can become problematic if not kept physically and mentally stimulated. Although she is just 25 pounds, Pixie would be better suited in a home rather than an apartment. Pixie just celebrated her 7th birthday and is in great shape. She will do best with lots of walks plus a fenced backyard where she can play safely with her people. If you think you can offer the kind of environment and lifestyle that would make Pixie happy, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website. We are planning to have Pixie at our next adoption day at Mon Ami in Kirkland on Saturday, April 22. Details and a link to a Google map can be found on our website.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for heartworm (if deemed necessary), microchipped, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($300 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
