Facts about Tio

  • Breed: Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher Mix
  • Color: Brown/Chocolate
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Tio was found as a stray and brought to a local SPCA, where he was terrified and acting out badly. This SPCA knows that some of PLDP fosters love to help these frightened little ones, so we were called. Tio was sprung on St Patty's day so his full name is Tio Pat. Tio went into foster care with kennel cough so he just really became okay about a week ago, and his bouncy personality is apparent! Tigger would also be an appropriate name for him. Tio is a happy guy, pretty easy to get a long with, he can be a little growly but that's as far as it has gone. We are recommending older children, if any. Tio is good with other dogs, but not with cats. Tio loves to play with toys, chew bully sticks and rides well in the car. He could learn some leash manners, as he bounces all over the place sometimes. He is crate trained, and believed to be housebroken. If you think you can open your heart and your home to Tio, please complete an application on our website www.pldpaws.org.

About Peace, Love & Doggie Paws Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

PLDP's number one goal is the successful placement of pets into their forever homes. Our process is designed to ensure the best adoption match for our pets and your family.

Families interested in adopting a pet should fill out the adoption application at www.pldpaws.org and email it to pldpaws@gmail.com. A PLDP representative will review your application and respond to you within 48 hours. After your application is processed, a time to meet your new fur friend can be scheduled. PLDP also requires home visits for all applicants. This visit can be done at the time of the meet or at a separate time. If you have any questions regarding our adoption process, please feel free to contact us.
